Job summary

Oldcastle is seeking a compounder operator to set up and run the mixer system, weighing ingredients for the proper formulation, and supplying materials to the weigh station. The role includes operating a forklift, maintaining batch accuracy, and following safety protocols to ensure a clean, safe, efficient production environment.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be able to read safety rules and procedures, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Set up mixer system to produce compound required for production.
• Weigh ingredients accurately for proper formulation and batch consistency.
• Operate forklift in tight areas to supply materials to weigh station.
• Maintain blend levels in silos and check scales for zero readings.
• Receive raw materials and complete required paperwork.
• Ensure safety practices and wear protective equipment at all times.
