Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, is seeking a production operator to set up and run the compounding equipment, ensuring consistent material blends for extrusion production.

You will weigh ingredients, verify formulation order, operate the mixer, and connect to conveying systems to deliver to silos, while alerting Foreman to weighing issues. This role requires adherence to safety rules and daily housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up the mixer system to produce compound for production.
• Weigh each ingredient to the required formulation and maintain proper batch according to weights.
• Monitor weighing scales, zero readings, and adjust as needed; alert foreman on errors.
• Stock raw materials for mixing operation per policy and operate forklift to supply materials.
• Maintain clean and safe work area; assist maintenance as required.
