Job summary

Narda-MITEQ is seeking an Inspector to perform quality inspections on machined and purchased components, materials, and assemblies. You will interpret drawings, BOMs, and specifications, and determine acceptance using precision gauges.

Responsibilities include logging inspection data, verifying conformance to Mil Specs and IPC standards, and maintaining thorough records. A strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance with quality standards is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 6+ years relevant experience or 2-year post-secondary/Associate degree with 2 years relevant experience.
• Follows established processes; identifies problems and escalates to supervisor when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of in-house machined and/or purchased components to drawings and specs.
• Use precision measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer) and other required gauges.
• Familiar with mechanical measuring equipment (OGP, XRF) to determine material composition.
• Review documentation, perform sampling and testing of components and materials.
• Maintain inspection logs and records; report performance data.
• Ensure materials and finished products meet standards and specs.
• Support supervisor with additional tasks as assigned.
