Job summary

Narda-MITEQ in Hauppauge, NY is seeking an Inspector to perform inspections on in-house machined and purchased components, assemblies and materials to meet specifications.

Responsibilities include interpreting manufacturing drawings, BOMs and specifications, maintaining inspection logs, and applying MIL specs and IPC standards to ensure quality and reliability for military and commercial applications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant experience, or 2-year Associate degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to interpret drawings, BOMs and specifications to determine acceptance or rejection of parts.
• Proficient with precision inspection instruments and recording inspection results.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of components to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Maintain inspection logs and records.
• Ensure materials and finished products meet Mil-Std and IPC standards.
• Review and test components and assemblies as part of quality control.
