Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Winding experience preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Set up winding machines and expandable mandrels.
• Wind single and multi-conductor coils per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Transverse conductors and insulate where needed.
• Operate lead burning equipment and torches to remove formvar coating.
• Maintain conductor tension to meet coil dimensions.
• Inspect coils for defects and notify supervisor as needed.
• Assist in on-the-job orientation and training and support other work centers.
