Job summary

Qualifications

• Operate or tend coil winding machines to produce windings for transformers.
• Attach, alter, and trim materials such as wire, insulation, and coils.
• Winds copper or aluminum conductors around the form.
• Install taps and insulation as required by winding sheets.
• Follow coil treatment procedures and perform resistance checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Overtime may be required to meet scheduling requirements.
