Job summary

Advantage Technical in Manor, TX is hiring a Tube Fabrication Technician to turn raw material into precise tubes. You will read blueprints, set up and operate manual, semi-automatic, and CNC tube-bending equipment, and perform exact cuts and bends to tight tolerances.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, experience with tube bending, and ability to read engineering drawings. Shifts include 1st and 2nd, with competitive weekly pay and benefits; overtime and occasional weekends may

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification in machining, fabrication, welding, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust manual, semi-automatic, and CNC tube-bending equipment
• Calculate bends using CLA, E/E formulas, tangents, angles, and bend radii
• Review blueprints, engineering drawings, process sheets, and sketches to determine tooling and bend requirements
• Perform precision cutting, shaping, and bending of metal tubing to exact tolerances
• Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Identify, troubleshoot, and correct minor machine issues during production
• Operate supporting equipment such as band saws, cold saws, facing tools, and deburring tools
• Communicate directly with engineers to provide feedback on nonconforming processes
• Perform routine maintenance on the bending and cutting equipment
• Maintain a safe, organized work area while meeting production and quality objectives
