Job summary

Global Packaging Systems (GPS) - A Division of PMD is seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up / Operator to join our manufacturing team. You will set up and operate CNC equipment to produce quality parts meeting specifications.

The ideal candidate will confidently set up tooling, fixtures, and offsets, read blueprints, and inspect parts using precision metrology. This is a hands-on role requiring independence and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 4+ years CNC machining experience.
• Experience setting up tooling, fixtures, and offsets.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and setup CNC machines per instructions.
• Set up tooling, fixtures, and work offsets.
• Run first part on repeat jobs and adjust tool offsets.
• Operate CNC machines in single-block mode and input G/M-codes.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring equipment and document results.
