Job summary

Global Packaging Systems (GPS) is seeking an experienced CNC Set-Up / Operator to join our manufacturing team in a full-time role. You will set up CNC equipment, run production parts, and inspect outputs to meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will confidently set up tooling, read blueprints, and make basic machine edits, while maintaining quality and safety standards as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of CNC machining experience
• 2 years CNC setup + 2 years CNC operator experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints
• Strong understanding of tooling and fixture setup

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and machine manuals for proper CNC setup
• Set up tooling, vises, fixtures, and tool holders
• Establish work coordinates and machine offsets
• Run first part on repeat jobs and adjust tools as needed
• Inspect parts with precision measuring equipment and document results
• Operate CNC machines in single-block mode and input G- and M-codes
