Job summary

APX is seeking a CNC Router Operator to join our metal manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, set up CNC routers, and ensure precision components using CNC programming and precision measuring tools. Carpentry familiarity is a plus for material handling and tooling insights.

You will report to the Production Supervisor and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals, inspect quality, and suggest process improvements in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints to ensure part specs are met.
• Strong math and measurement skills.
• Able to communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.
• Meet production schedules and deadlines.
• Provide updates on production metrics to Management.
• Operate manual milling machine.
• Diagnose tool wear and determine causes.
• Contribute to product optimization discussions.
• Perform open bench quality inspections.
• Consult with tooling vendors for solutions.
• Stand and work on feet for 8 hours.
