Job summary

Job Juncture seeks a CNC Programmer to develop and optimize programs for precision machined parts. You will work closely with machinists, manufacturing engineering, and quality to translate engineering requirements into safe, efficient machining processes that consistently meet dimensional and finish requirements.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining programs, selecting tools and setups, verifying with CAD/CAM simulations, and supporting on-floor prove-outs and adjustments.

Qualifications

Practical CNC programming experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T.
Working knowledge of G-code, M-code and CAM tools.

Responsibilities

Create, modify, and maintain CNC programs from drawings and models.
Develop machining sequences, tooling, speeds, feeds, and setups.
Use CAD/CAM tools to verify and simulate before release.
Support first-piece prove-outs and on-floor troubleshooting.
Optimize toolpaths, cycle times, tool life, and finishes.
Prepare setup sheets, tooling lists, and operator instructions; maintain revisions.
Collaborate with quality to verify prints and tolerances.
Assist with fixture concepts and manufacturability feedback.
