Job summary

The Atlas Group is seeking a Plate Saw operator in Park City, Utah to perform precision measuring, cutting and finishing of raw materials used in manufacturing. You will set up, operate, and run the CNC Plate Saw equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in every step.

You will follow nesting sheet instructions, inspect cut sizes, maintain clean work areas, and transfer pieces to inventory using proper documentation and FIFO practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cut orders per nesting sheet instructions and document necessary information.
• Inspect material and cut sizes per guidelines.
• Maintain clean work areas and proper material storage.
• Transfer completed pieces to inventory and document accordingly.
• Operate plate saws and HEM saw; perform setup and running of CNC Plate Saw equipment.
• Use forklift to load/unload and move materials safely.
• Maintain maintenance and inspection checklist for equipment.
• Label completed cut pieces and remaining material.
• Follow FIFO to pull material and maintain inventory traceability.
