Job summary

Service Steel Aerospace is seeking a Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The role involves pulling and verifying material, and operating band saws and plate saws to cut metals to exact specifications.

You will read work orders, set cutting speeds, and input data into our inventory system while maintaining safety and quality standards. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to learn multiple functions, and comply with OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to learn multiple functions in a complex industry.
• Experience operating band saws and forklifts preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA guidelines and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up band saws to cut aluminum, alloy, stainless steels, titanium, and other metals to specified dimensions.
• Read work orders, verify material and stock dimensions, and ensure quality conformance.
• Input data into inventory system and maintain clean, safe work area.
