Responsibilities

• Set up and operate plasma cutting equipment to cut metal components according to drawings, layouts, and specs.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, cut sheets, and work instructions to determine dimensions, contours, bevels, and material specs.
• Program and operate plasma table software as required for assigned production work.
• Load, position, and remove steel and other materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other approved material-handling equipment.
• Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Maintain equipment and replace consumables; perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production records and keep work area clean and safe.
