Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience with precision inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges.
• 1 year Machine Tool Operation certificate or 3–6 months related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to apply geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Read, process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine dimensional specifications and operating requirements.
• Set up and operate CNC milling machines or CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment.
• Select and install proper tooling, calculate feeds and speeds for steel, copper, brass, aluminum, and bronze.
• Write, edit, or read CNC programs and understand CAM programming software.
• Perform quality inspections and calibrate measuring equipment as part of continuous improvement.
