Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Antigo, Wisconsin is seeking a CNC Programmer to design and optimize programs for lathes and mills using Fanuc, Okuma, Mazak controls. You will develop CAD/CAM programs, verify accuracy, and streamline setups to boost productivity while ensuring adherence to drawings and tolerances.

Required are 2–4 years of CNC experience, certification from a technical school, and strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

• Certification from accredited technical school preferred.
• 2–4 years’ experience operating CNC mills or lathes.
• Ability to write macros for efficient machining.
• Experience with multi-axis machines and GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes drawings to determine cuts, tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Program CNC machines using cadcam and verify with 3D checks.
• Update routings and optimize setups for productivity.
• Create standard work documents for tooling and programs.
• Monitor programs for blueprint accuracy and safe completion.
