The CNC Operator role focuses on monitoring and adjusting CNC machining operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards via CMM and lab inspection results, with opportunities for setup assistance and tool changes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a machining environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
• Use of precision measuring tools and gages
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Reliable and self-starting with strong ethics

Responsabilités

• Monitor CNC machine operations under direction of CNC Machinist staff
• Assist in setup and changeover of CNC machines for new products
• Monitor tool condition visually and by machine cycle counts
• Change tools when worn or broken and reinsert into process
• Facilitate CMM and Metallurgical Lab inspections as required
• Complete manual inspections with micrometers, calipers, gauges
• Make basic CNC program adjustments based on inspection results
• Monitor and refill CNC machine fluids daily
• Clear chips from the machine daily
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components
• Visually inspect parts for quality and perform deburring as needed
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Tag and quarantine non-conforming material and trace issues
• Read and understand blueprints, work instructions, and basic GD&T
