Job summary

FEUER Powertrain North America, Inc. is seeking a CNC Machinist II to produce high-quality precision components and guide CNC Operators. You will monitor operations, adjust processes based on inspection data, and manage tool changes and machine setup for new product batches.

The role requires a 2-year machining certificate or equivalent, 5+ years in machining, and strong blueprint/GD&T skills. Safety and quality are top priorities in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2-year certificate in machining or metalworking program.
• 5+ years experience in a machining environment.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and basic technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CNC machine operations and provide direction to CNC Operator and CNC Machinist I staff.
• Complete the changeover of CNC machines and achieve production release for new batches of existing products.
• Diagnose and resolve common machine issues, performing basic maintenance as needed.
• Monitor tool condition visually and by automated CNC machine cycle count; change tools when worn or broken.
• Facilitate CMM and Metallurgical Lab inspections as required by the Control Plan.
• Complete manual inspections with micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.
• Make basic CNC program adjustments based on inspection results to ensure quality.
• Load and unload raw materials and finished components from CNC machines as necessary.
• Read blueprints and GD&T; maintain clean and safe work area.
