Job summary

You will read blueprints, set up tooling, monitor offsets, perform daily maintenance, and log production data in the shop tracking system.

Candidates should have 1–3 years CNC experience, HS diploma or machining certificate, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds while maintaining a clean, safety-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years CNC experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; machining certificate preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job travelers.
• Knowledge of basic machining practices, feeds and speeds.
• Ability to read and use manual precision measuring tools.
• Understanding of G-code and M-code is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery (mills, lathes, machining centers) to fabricate components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Perform quality inspections with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, plug gauges.
• Monitor tooling and offsets; perform basic tool changes.
• Conduct daily machine maintenance and keep workspace organized (5S/OSHA).
• Log production output, scrap, and quality data in shop tracking system.
