Job summary

Modular Mission Critical is seeking a Machine Operator to set up, program, and operate CNC machines to manufacture precision metal parts. You will read engineering drawings, select tooling, and ensure quality through inspection and measurement.

This role requires basic computer skills, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with others. Prior experience with Lazer CNC and beam CNC is preferred. Location is on-site with safety as a priority.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with Lazer CNC and beam CNC.
• G Code programming and CNC operations.
• Basic computer skills and ability to read technical drawings.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to process metal parts per design specifications.
• Load and unload materials using hoists or manually.
• Monitor machine operation and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality using measuring tools.
• Set up and operate machine metal parts.
• Select appropriate tooling and dies based on job requirements.
• Program sequences into the control panel.
• Check work using measuring tools and templates to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot common issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
