Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a production operator in New Hampshire to operate multiple machines including saws, presses, and drills. The role requires reading blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances, measuring workpieces, and adjusting machine controls to ensure accuracy.

The operator will start and run machinery, detect malfunctions, and verify conformance of finished parts to specs.

Qualifications

• Operates production machines such as saws, presses, drills, and other hand and/or powered equipment.
• Reads blueprints, drawings, manuals, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations, and limited setup requirements.
• Measures dimensions on workpiece and verifies conformance to specifications.
• Adjusts and operates machine controls to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed data.
• Tests operation of unit to ensure functionality and performance.
• Assembles product as needed.

Responsibilities

• Starts and runs machinery to produce product and detects malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
