Massie Manufacturing, Inc. in Baraga, Michigan is seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators to join our welding, machining and fabrication team. You will set up and operate CNC equipment to produce precision parts according to customer specifications.

You will read blueprints, measure with precision tools, monitor performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. A strong attention to detail and a safe work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC equipment operating experience or completion of a recognized manufacturing technology, machining, or similar technical program.
• Ability to read and understand welding and fabrication blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
• A dependable work ethic and the motivation to keep work moving.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce parts according to customer specifications.
• Read blueprints and confirm measurements using precision measuring tools.
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Keep your work area organized, clean, and safe.
• Operate a forklift (after completing company-provided training).
• Communicate production needs, equipment concerns, and quality issues to leadership.
• Help in other production areas when needed.
