Job summary

You will maintain inventory counts, load material, handle prints, logs, and perform daily PM checks; emphasis on safety and accuracy; candidates should read gauges and use calipers.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Must be able to lift 50–90 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Experience with CNC or cutting operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an accurate count of all flat stock inventories.
• Loads correct material onto the CNC and minimizes errors.
• Distributes prints to next department after job completion.
• Unloads material deliveries and keeps stock organized.
• Processes job orders timely and accurately with correct job numbers.
• Logs time and activity in the shop management system.
• Performs preventative maintenance on cutting equipment.
• Places orders for consumables as needed.
• Cleans work area at end of shift.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
