Responsibilities

• Operate conventional and swiss machines safely and efficiently to produce quality parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Understand and apply GD&T symbols and specifications.
• Measure and document part dimensions using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure parts meet customer and quality requirements.
• Make machine offsets to maintain dimensional accuracy throughout production runs.
• Touch off tools and verify proper tool setup before machining operations.
• Change tooling as required and verify tool condition and performance.
• Complete inspection records and production documentation accurately.
• Monitor machine performance and report any quality or equipment concerns.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures.
