Qualifications

• High school diploma, trade school certificate, or associate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ work experience in a precision machine shop.
• Ability to read job specifications and adjust tooling.
• Ability to train and operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Startup, operate and shutdown CNC milling machines/lathes following established procedures and safety requirements.
• Set cut dimensions using machine controls from print details.
• Select, position, and align tooling in machine tool holder and maintain secure setup.
• Maintain preventive maintenance log and keep work area neat and safe.
• Inspect work pieces for dimensions and quality; report defects.
