Job summary

Industrious Group is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts in our shop. The role requires reading drawings, selecting tools, and optimizing speeds and feeds for quality results.

You will work with engineers and inspectors to ensure parts meet specs, perform in-process checks, and document measurements. Five years of CNC experience and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years’ experience operating CNC lathes and/or mills is required.
• Blueprint reading is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills to produce precision parts.
• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Write and adjust CNC programs; verify with printouts and inspections.
• Perform in-process inspection and use calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Collaborate with engineers to produce parts to specifications.
