Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Windsor, CT is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, program, and run 3–4 axis milling operations to produce precision components.

You will interpret blueprints and GD&T, perform in-process and final inspections, troubleshoot issues, and work with engineering to improve tooling, cycle times, and overall quality on a fast-paced shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical machining education preferred.
• Proven CNC machining background with strong milling expertise.
• Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and run CNC milling machines.
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, and specifications to determine the best approach.
• Verify parts with in-process and final inspections.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Work closely with engineering and production to improve processes, tooling, and cycle times.
