Job summary

Durex Industries seeks a CNC Machinist on 2nd shift to set up, run, and optimize milling and some turning operations. You will interpret blueprints, GD&T, and use hand metrology tools to verify parts against specs. You’ll edit G-code, manage tooling, and ensure safety, quality and throughput from start to finish.

You will load jobs, perform in-process checks, document results, and assist with training teammates. A strong focus on accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced shop is essential.

Qualifications

  • Experience with CNC controls, tooling and setups.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T callouts.
  • Proficient with micrometers, calipers and hand metrology tools.
  • Strong safety and quality focus with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Load jobs, set work/tool offsets and run programs.
  • Interpret drawings and GD&T; verify features with precision tools.
  • Edit/machine G-code and maintain tool geometry for accuracy.
  • Perform in-process inspections and document results.
  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate workflow to keep production flowing.

Shape Precision on 2nd Shift with Durex IndustriesStep onto a floor of brand-new, state-of-the-art CNC equipment and help us manufacture high-precision components that keep our customers moving forward.
