Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical school certification in machining or manufacturing technology.
• 2+ years of experience in CNC milling (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Ability to read technical drawings and apply GD&T principles.
• Strong experience with precision measurement tools.
• Basic understanding of CNC programming (G-code) preferred.
• Familiarity with materials such as steel, aluminum, and plastics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual milling machines to produce high-precision parts
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and work instructions
• Select and install appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials
• Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and program edits as needed
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM tools if applicable)
• Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards throughout production
• Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements
• Maintain equipment through routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance
• Document production activities, inspect results, and report deviations
• Follow safety standards and ensure a clean, organized work area
