Job summary

Qualified Staffing is seeking skilled CNC Machine Operators in the Lapeer area for an automotive parts manufacturing facility. 1st and 2nd shifts available. Pay is based on experience, starting at $15-18 per hour. Applicants should submit an up-to-date resume for consideration.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating machines, reading blueprints, adjusting settings, and ensuring quality. Overtime is mandatory most weeks, including Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Some prior manufacturing/machine operating experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a machine to make metal parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
• Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Measure dimensions of finished work pieces using precision instruments.
• Mount, align and secure work pieces on machines using hand tools.
• Maintain highest level of quality.
• Other duties as assigned.
