Job summary

Guill Tool & Engineering in the United States is seeking a Machinist to set up and operate conventional, special purpose and NC machines to manufacture precision parts. You will study blueprints, determine tolerances, select tooling, and ensure safety compliance on the shop floor.

Responsibilities include adhering to the production sequence, signing off completed operations, performing first piece inspections, keeping the workspace clean, and following OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications or sample part to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Determine sequence of operations and setup requirements.
• Must follow OSHA safety regulations and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate conventional, special purpose and NC machines to manufacture parts.
• Cut material as required by shop router and sign off operations.
• Verify conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
• Perform first piece inspection when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and machine.
