Job summary

Tempco Manufacturing Company in Mendota Heights, MN is seeking a skilled CNC Mill Setup Operator to set up and run vertical and horizontal milling machines, producing precision die components, fixtures, gages, and metal-stamped parts for critical applications.

You will review programs and setup sheets, install tools, align workpieces, adjust speeds and feeds to tight tolerances (as close as .0002 inches), and inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment.

Qualifications

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines and read blueprints.
• Review setup sheets, select tooling, and verify offsets.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools and CMM when required.
• Troubleshoot tool wear and machine alignment for quality parts.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate records.
