Job summary

Primus Aerospace is seeking a CNC Mill Production Team Lead for our Lakewood, CO facility. The role directs production personnel, ensures on-time delivery, quality, and safety while coordinating with programming and operations teams. You will set up CNC mills, train operators, and troubleshoot programs, driving continuous improvement.

The position requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to manage production metrics in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining experience with CNC mills.
• Ability to set up CNC mills (3-, 4-, 5-axis).
• Strong communication and leadership for a manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CNC mill production to meet orders on time and to spec.
• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills; verify drawings and programs.
• Provide tooling support, monitor cycle times and part quality.
• Lead machinists, coach and evaluate staff; support hiring and performance management.
• Drive Lean, 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
