Job summary

NOV in Tulsa, OK is seeking a CNC Machinist with 3–5 years of experience to set up, operate and inspect quality parts on CNC boring mill machines, holding close tolerances and maximizing efficiency. Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience operating CNC HBM Machinist in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• Fanuc Control Experience.
• Knowledge and application of precision measurement instruments (calipers, ID & OD micrometers, depth gauges, indicators, scales).
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect quality parts on CNC boring mill machines.
• Set up, operate and inspect parts with close tolerances and maximum efficiencies.
• Study drawings and specifications to determine dimensions and setup requirements.
• Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on material or work pieces.
• Detect equipment malfunctions or out of tolerance machining and adjust machines to ensure quality of production.
• Assist in solving complex plant operating problems and cost reduction projects.
• Operate forklift and lifting devices for movement of parts.
• Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, and quality to resolve machining or quality issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and perform basic preventative maintenance.
• Enforce all Company Health, Safety and Environmental rules.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
