CEIS Power is seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to set up and operate CNC milling machines in a repair or manufacturing environment. The role focuses on precision components for rotating equipment, turbomachinery, and related parts, requiring strong job shop discipline and tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC milling experience, can read blueprints, and perform offsets and simple program edits.

Qualifications

3+ years CNC milling experience in machine shop or industrial setting.
Experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, feeds and speeds.
Experience using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
Ability to perform machine offsets and basic program edits.

Responsabilités

Set up and operate CNC milling machines to specifications.
Machine, modify, and repair rotating equipment components.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
Load tooling, establish work offsets, adjust machine settings, and edit programs as needed.
Monitor machining operations and maintain part quality and tolerances.
Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and other measuring tools.
Verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances according to specs.
Troubleshoot machining issues and tooling wear.
Work with CNC programmers, machinists, and quality personnel to ensure parts meet requirements.
Complete required machining documentation and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
