Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a reliable CNC Mill Machinist for our Wallingford, CT site. The role requires setting up and operating vertical machining centers, lathes, and 3x5 axis CNC milling machines, with duties including forming, drilling, tapping, and inspection of plastic manifold components.

The candidate must read blueprints, follow quality procedures, and work Monday–Friday, 6am–4pm. Starting pay ranges from $23 to $29 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in CNC machining
• 1+ years blueprint reading
• Experience with vertical machining centers and 3x5 axis CNC milling machines

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate vertical machining centers, lathes and 3x5 axis CNC milling machines.
• Perform operations such as forming, drilling, tapping, reaming, chamfering, cutting.
• Input process and IPC data into Pro Shop/Part Level during runs.
• Record time and part counts accurately; maintain on-time targets.
• Assist with loading/unloading, deburring, sawing, bead blasting and insert installations.
• Interpret blueprints and follow quality procedures to ensure part quality.
