Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking a precise CNC Mill Machinist to join our Ivyland, PA team. You will set up and operate milling machines, program with Mazatrol and G/M codes, and ensure parts meet engineering tolerances per ISO standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety and production targets while supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints, tolerances, and work instructions.
• Using precision measuring tools to verify parts.
• Maintaining quality and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Collaborating with team to meet production targets.
• Following standard work and continuous improvement practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run production on all machines with tool conditions in mind.
• Program machines with Mazatrol and G/M codes as skills progress.
• Follow and develop standard work for setup, inspection, and deburring.
• Adapt procedures, tools, and equipment to new jobs as needed.
• Meet or exceed production targets and quotas.
• Collaborate with team to optimize workflow and daily/monthly targets.
• Operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines.
• Select tooling and fixtures for each job and ensure proper setup.
• Inspect parts using ISO standards and maintain quality records.
