Job summary

Millennium Power Services in Prince George County, Virginia, is seeking a skilled Machinist to work with CNC and manual equipment on a variety of valve repair and manufacturing projects. You will read blueprints, set up tooling, and ensure high-precision parts in a safety-conscious shop.

The role offers day shifts, on-site work, steady overtime, and a strong benefits package. 5–7 years of machining experience and a solid grasp of precision measurement are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of machining experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of CNC and manual machining processes.
• Experience setting up and operating machining equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of tooling, fixtures, inserts, and machining accessories.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments.
• Strong math and geometry skills.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Machine precision parts for valve repair and manufacturing.
• Read blueprints, technical drawings, and machining specs.
• Select tooling, fixtures, inserts, and workholding.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and setups to maintain quality.
• Inspect parts with precision measuring tools and document results.
• Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and service teams.
