Job summary

Dover Precision Components in Antigo, Wisconsin, is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist for our 2nd Shift to operate, set up, and program CNC machines producing precision components. You will work with lathes and milling machines in a fast-paced environment focused on accuracy and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have CNC experience, read blueprints, understand GD&T, and be proficient with measurement tools.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, sketches and GD&T drawings to determine specifications.
• Familiar with CNC programming languages (G-code) and CAM software for toolpaths.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and quality inspection.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and program CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts.
• Read process sheets and blueprints, select tooling, and determine feeds and speeds.
• Locate programs from DNC storage, edit or write programs as needed.
• Ensure quality by performing inspections and maintaining calibration of measuring equipment.
• Promote safety, participate in continuous improvement, and adhere to Lean practices.
