Job summary

Day-to-day you will set up, load, and operate equipment, inspect parts for defects, perform minor maintenance, and document results while collaborating with welders and technicians in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend industrial blueprints.
• Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment that are needed to perform the assembly operations in an industrial setting.
• Must have good listening and communication skills.
• Able to work well with others and to be a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Follow specified work instructions and/or engineering parts drawings to assemble a wide variety of products.
• Ensure quality of work and meet production standards.
• Look for ways to improve production processes and maintain safety as a priority.
• Set stops or guides to specified length and position workpiece against stops.
• Operate machine by pushing buttons or pedals and observe for defects.
