Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• MIG weld 2G capability/experience is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend industrial blueprints.
• Must possess the ability to use tools and equipment needed for assembly operations in an industrial setting.
• Must have good listening and communication skills.
• Able to work well with others and to be a good team player.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, and fit components together.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or submerged arc welding equipment.
• Assemble parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.
