Job summary

Qualigence International in Mentor, OH is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our fabrication team. You will set up and program CNC machines to produce precision components, maintain tight tolerances, and work with specialty materials to deliver defect-free parts.

Responsibilities include machine setup with tooling and work holding, editing programs, interpreting blueprints, using calipers and micrometers, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• CNC machine set-up experience with tooling and work holding.
• Blueprints reading and interpretation skills.
• Experience with tool offsets and program editing basics.
• G-code and M-code fundamentals.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to produce components, including tooling and work holding.
• Edit programs as needed to match set-up and tooling selection.
• Produce smooth, defect-free surfaces, including PTFE materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Use calipers, micrometers, depth micrometers, and height gauges.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and existing CNC programs and maintain safety.
