Elwood Staffing is seeking an experienced CNC Precision Machinist to operate and program CNC vertical mills and lathes in Gadsden, AL. The role requires precise setup, tooling, and quality checks to produce high-quality components.

You will read complex blueprints and CAD files (DWG/DXF/IGS), interpret CAD data, and ensure parts meet strict tolerances. This is a temp-to-hire, first-shift position with weekend work and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC machinist experience with setup and programming.
• Strong blueprint reading and CAD interpretation skills.
• Experience with vertical mills and lathes.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate CNC vertical mills and lathes.
• Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints and drawings.
• Ensure parts meet tight tolerances with in-process checks.
