Job summary

MESCO Manufacturing Group LLC in Indiana is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist/Set-Up Technician. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and operating CNC lathes and mills, with a solid understanding of CAD/CAM.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, creating/editing CNC programs, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting production issues, and mentoring teammates to improve efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC Milling and CNC Turning.
• Proficient reading of blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of G-code programming language.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines according to job specifications
• Create and edit CNC programs as needed
• Perform regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the production process
• Train and mentor other team members on best practices for CNC machine operation
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and quality
