Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer to produce precision industrial parts using CNC lathes and milling machines. The ideal candidate has CNC programming experience, can interpret machining drawings, and maintains tight tolerances in a heavy industrial shop.

Responsibilities include programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and mills; reading technical drawings; using G-code with Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain; achieving tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inch; and following

Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating CNC machines.
• Familiarity with CNC lathes, mills, and G-code.
• Ability to read and interpret machining drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of precision measurement tools and tight-tolerance machining.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment and meet the required schedule.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills per drawings.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture parts accurately.
• Use G-code and CNC controls, including Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain.
• Machine components to precise tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inches.
• Measure and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other precision tools.
• Maintain product quality, accuracy, and consistent machining results.
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a professional, reliable work ethic.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed and work the required schedule, including Saturdays.
