Job summary

Qualdoc is seeking a CNC Machinist & Programmer to produce precision parts on CNC lathes and milling machines. The candidate should have CNC programming experience, read drawings, and maintain tight tolerances in a heavy industrial shop.

Responsibilities include programming, setup, and operation, interpreting drawings, using G-code on Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain controls, and verifying parts with precision measuring tools. Lift requirement and Saturday schedule apply.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating CNC machines.
• Familiarity with CNC lathes, mills, and G-code.
• Ability to read and interpret machining drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of precision measurement tools and tight-tolerance machining.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills using shop drawings and machining specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to manufacture parts accurately.
• Use G-code and CNC controls, including Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain.
• Machine components to precise tolerances as tight as 0.0005 inches.
• Measure and verify parts using calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges, and other precision measuring tools.
• Maintain product quality, accuracy, and consistent machining results.
• Follow shop safety procedures and maintain a professional, reliable work ethic.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as needed and work the required schedule, including Saturdays.
