Job summary

Trident Consulting is seeking a hands-on CNC Machinist/Operator to manufacture precision components using CNC lathes, mills, saws, and related machining equipment in Claremore, OK. This on-site role supports a global energy technology company and requires a proactive builder mindset.

You will read blueprints, set up machines, monitor tolerances, adjust feeds and speeds, and perform basic troubleshooting while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

1+ year of CNC machining experience.
Experience with CNC lathes, mills, saws, or similar equipment.
Ability to read blueprints/technical drawings.
Knowledge of GD&T.
Basic algebra and geometry used in machining.
Ability to make machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic issues.
Manufacturing or oilfield equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, saws, and machining equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Produce precision parts according to engineering specifications.
Monitor machines and make adjustments when needed.
Work with dimensions, tolerances, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters.
Perform basic machine troubleshooting.
Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
