Job summary

You will read blueprints, run setups, perform first article inspections, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes and maintain a safe, organized work area. Prior CNC lathe experience and lean manufacturing familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience as a Lathe Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with CNC programming and setup is required.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality parts on CNC machines (lathes and mills) safely and efficiently.
• Operate CNC machines, perform setup changes, and conduct first article inspections.
• Read blueprints and determine dimensions, tolerances, and tooling needs.
• Identify issues before production runs and adjust machine controls as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and perform basic maintenance.
