Job summary

OPW, a Dover Corporation company, seeks a CNC machinist to operate and tend multi-axis machines, interpret blueprints, and ensure parts meet exact specifications. You’ll verify tolerances, make first-piece adjustments, and support quality systems in a manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have 3+ years CNC experience or equivalent training, with strong manual dexterity and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting. Training available for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years direct CNC experience or formal CNC training from accredited program with 1+ years’ experience post training.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Run first piece and make adjustments based on quality inspection.

Responsibilities

• Machine operation: load and tend runs of parts or perform one-step operations on individual parts.
• Read blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions, and charts for specifications.
• Verify conformance of machined parts to specifications and adjust as needed.
• Maintain quality by following ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003 standards.
