Qualifications

• Gauge selection, measurement technique, and result interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC, conventional, and special‑purpose machines to cut, shape, and form metal parts.
• Load/unload material using hoists and hand tools; secure work on tables and fixtures.
• Monitor cycles; identify malfunctions or tolerance drift; adjust machine controls or media.
• Confirm specs with micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.
• Tag/stamp parts and document throughput on Process and Log sheets.
• Deburr and wash finished parts; stage on pallets or in tubs.
• Carry out routine PM: clean interiors/exteriors, check oil, and complete minor repairs.
• Alert the Shop Supervisor when equipment needs service.
